Velocity = Awcos ( wt + phi )

Displacement = Asin ( wt + phi )

Where phi = initial phase

Phase difference between displacement and velocity is π/ 2

That is 90 degrees as sin and cos functions differ in having 90 degree.

Hope it helps!
