When a mass undergoesSimple Harmonic Motion,there is always a constant ratio between it's displacement and acceleration. Since a = -w^2 x where w is the angular frequency of the particle. and thus,displacement/acceleration = 1/w^2 which is a constant ratio for every changingdisplacement too !!
