Step-by-step explanation:

Volume of sphere = 4pi r cube

4*22/7*2*2

16*22/7

=50 cm square( Approx )

volume of cone = 1/3 pi r square h

=1/3*22/7*2*2*3

=1/3*22/7*12 cm square

Ratio = 50 *1*22/3*7*2*2*3

ratio = 275:21

Hope this will helped you ......

Answer:

Ratio = 32/9

Step-by-step explanation:

For simplified version:

Vol of sphere = 4/3 πr³

Vol of cone = 1/3 πR²H

So their ratio should be:

ratio = (4/3 πr³) / (1/3 πR²H)

ratio = (4r³) / (R²H)

We know r=2; H=3. We don't know R so we solve it.

If you refer to the figure below, you will see a right triangle with sides 1, 2 and R.

Solving for R:

2² = R² + 1²

R = √3

So the ratio:

ratio = (4r³) / (R²H)

ratio = [4(2³)] / [(√3)²(3)]

ratio = 32/9
