Given
a square ABCD of side AB= 2X +3 cm and BC = 3X - 5.
We know that, in a square all sides are equal to each other.
thereby , AB= BC= CD= AC.
So,
AB = BC
2X + 3 = 3X - 5 ( GIVEN)

3 + 5 = 3X - 2X
8. = X

Therefore
X = 8
Substitute x= 8.

2X + 3 = 3x -5
2 (8) + 3 = 3(8) - 5
16 + 3 = 24 - 5
19 = 19.

Hope this helps you.
