Explanation:-

It is given that diagonals are mèeting at O in a square PQRS. We know that diagonals of a square are equal, bisects each other and made 90° by intersection.

We have to find what type of triangle POS is. ∆ POS will have its first vertice at centre, 2nd and 3rd will be on vertices of square. Since the angle which measures 90° in the intersection of diagonals will be common for triangle too. Hence one angle of triangle  will  be of 90° and other 2 will be acute angles.

Hence this statement is proved that ∆ POS is a right angled triangle.
