total no. of books in stack = 5

thickness = 20mm

total thickness of the book = 20 × 5 = 100

total no. of paper = 5

thickness of the paper 0.016mm

total thickness of paper = 5 × 0.016 = 0.080

total thickness of the stack = 100 + 0.080 = 108.080

•°• the thickness of the stack is 1.008 × 102mm

Given,

Thickness of 1 book = 20 mm.

Thickness of 1 paper sheet = 0.016 mm.

Find,

Total thickness of stack.

To find,

Total thickness of 5 books = 5 × 20 = 100

Total thickness of 5 paper sheets = 5 × 0.016 = 0.08

Now,

Thickness of total stack

 \sf \fbox \orange{thickness \: of \: 5 \: books \: + \: thickness \: of \: 5 \: paper \: sheets}

100 + 0.08 = 100.08 mm.

Therefore, total thickness of stack is 100.08 mm.
