Speed of wave (v)=10m/s

Frequecy(γ)=100Hz

Wavelength(λ)= 10/100 = 1/10 ms

2π phase is covered in 1/10m

Hence,

at distance of 2.5 m,

the phase is

(2π×0.025)/0.1 = π/2
