it is 28 votes more as
Maths=1-(1/5 + 1/4)
          =11/20
          =44 votes
No. of votes for English=80*1/5=16 votes
Difference=44-16 votes

28 more votes Maths received than English

Step-by-step explanation:

In a survey 80 students were asked to vote for their favorite subject

Total Students = 80

1/5 Voted for English

=> Voted for English = (1/5) * 80 = 16

1/4 Voted for Science

=> Voted for Science = (1/4) * 80 = 20

Rest Voted for Maths

=> Voted for Maths = Total - English - Science

= 80 - 16 - 20

= 44

more votes maths received than English = Math - English

= 44 - 16

= 28

28 more votes maths received than English
