them.

Let  "E" and" D" be the set of people who wanted to be engineer and doctor respectively,

Given,

U=300

E=190

D=160

EnD =120

Now,

EuD= E+D - EnD

      = 190+160-120

      = 230

U = EuD + EuD

or, 300 = 230 + EuD

or,  EuD = 300 - 230

∴  EuD = 70

∴The no of students who wanted to be neither of them is 70.
