Subtract the number of houses that buy both English and Tamil newspapers from the number of houses that buy English newspapers to determine the number of houses that buy only English newspapers.

64-26=38

Subtract the number of houses that buy both English and Tamil newspapers from the number of houses that buy Tamil newspapers to determine the number of houses that buy only Tamil newspapers.

94-26=68

So, add the number of houses that buy only English newspapers and only Tamil newspapers.

38+94=106

Hence, the number of houses that buy newspapers of only one language is 106
