Given

Total no: of people = 720

\bold {=> No: \ of \ people \ who \ like \ pizzas}

= \frac{1}{18} *720

= 40 \ people

\bold {=> No : \ of \ people \ who \ like \ burgers}

= \frac{1}{12} * 720

= 60 \ people

\bold {=> No : \ of \ people \ who \ like \ momos}

= \frac{1}{8} * 720

= 90\ people

Total No: of people who like home made food

= 720 - ( 40 + 60 + 90)

= 720 - 190

= 530

❏ Question:-

@ In a survey it was revealed that out of 720 people, 1/18th of them like pizzas, 1/12th of them like burgers,1/8th of them like momos and the rest like home food. How many people like home food?

❏ Solution:-

Total No. of peoples = 720

No. of peoples like pizzas ,

\dfrac{1}{18}'th 0f 720

\longrightarrow \dfrac{1}{18}\times720

\longrightarrow \dfrac{1}{\cancel18}\times\cancel{720}

\longrightarrow 40

No. of peoples like burgers ,

\dfrac{1}{12}'th 0f 720

\longrightarrow \dfrac{1}{12}\times720

\longrightarrow \dfrac{1}{\cancel{12}}\times\cancel{720}

\longrightarrow 60

• No. of peoples like momos ,

\dfrac{1}{8}'th 0f 720

\longrightarrow \dfrac{1}{8}\times720

\longrightarrow \dfrac{1}{\cancel{8}}\times\cancel{720}

\longrightarrow 90

Now , according to the question the rest of the peoples like Home food ,

• No. of peoples like Home Food ,

\longrightarrow 720-(40+60+90)

\longrightarrow 720-190

\longrightarrow \boxed{530}

\therefore No. of peoples like Home Food = 530
