Solution:

Total women in the team= $12$ × $\frac{1}{3}$ = 4

Total men in the team= $12$ × $\frac{2}{3}$ = 8

Now if we want a team with 20% women, then let us assume that there should be x persons in the team.

Therefore, x × $\frac{20}{100}$ = 4

                ⇒ x = 4×5

                ⇒ x = 20

So, (20-4)=16 men should be hired.
