The answer is given below :

No. of correct answers = 25

So, marks secured = 25 × 4 = 100

Let, he did x no. of incorrect answers.

So, marks be cut = x × (-2) = -2x

Thus,

100 - 2x = 68

=> 2x = 100 - 68

=> 2x = 32

=> x = 16

So, Rohit did 16 incorrect answers and in total he attempted (25 + 16) = 41 questions.

Thank you for your question.

In a test (+4) marks are given for every correct answer and (-2)marks for every wrong answer

=>
Rohit answered all the questions and scored 68 marks

=> 25 of Rohit's answer were correct

w.k.t
t (+4) marks are given for every correct answer

so 25 × 4 = 100 marks

he answered 100 marks correctly.

=>but he got 68 marks

w.k.t (-2)marks for every wrong answer

so lets form an equation

=>2x = 100 - 68

=>2x = 32

=>x = 32/2

=>x =16

he answered 16 wrong answers
