In a test (+4) marks are given for every correct answer and (-2) marks are given for every
incorrect answer. (i) Mounika answered all the questions and scored 50 marks though she got
15 correct answers. (ii) Shekar also answered all the questions and scored (-4) marks though
he got 6 correct answers. How many incorrect answers had they attempted?

so, monica got 15 correct ans and for that she'd fetch 15*4 marks i e 60 marks

atq, 60-2x= 50

-2x=-10

x=5

therefore, she attempted 5 wrong ans

Shekhar answered 6 questions perfectly so,

he would fetch 4*6 i. e 24 marks

atq, 24-2x=-4

-2x=-28

x=14

therefore he attempted 14 questions wrong
