Explanation:

30 x X = 60 x 4

30x= 240

x= 240/30

8 hours

4 x 5400= 1800 x X

21600= 1800X

21600/1800 = X

Answer:

60 men will take 6hrs to prepare 5400meters of cloth.

Explanation:

Given:

30 men require 4 hours to prepare 1800 meters of cloth.

Since, the time required by 30 men  to prepare 1800 meters of cloth    is 4hrs

So, time taken by 30 men to prepare 5400 meters of cloth

       = \frac{(5400)(4)}{1800}

       =12hrs

Since, 30 men can prepare 5400 meters of cloth in 12 hours , 60 men can do the same work in

\frac{30}{60} =\frac{x}{12}

(Number of men required to do the work and time taken are    inversely proportional)

x=\frac{(30)(12)}{60}

x=6hrs

The time taken by 60 men to prepare 5400 meters of cloth is 6hrs
