  • Therefore triangle AOB is congruent to triangle DOC (by AA )
  • Therefore ar(AOB) / ar(COD) = AB^2 / CD^2
  •                                             = (3 CD)^2 / CD^2
  •                                               = 9/1

             So ar (AOB) / ar (COD) = 9:1
