In triangle ABC

AB = 6 ,BC=6, BC=5 and CA=4             ( given)

AP is the bisector of ∠ BAC       (given )

∴ P is the midpoint of BC

Hence BP = CP

BC = 5                ( given)

( BP + CP) = 5

(BP + BP ) =5

2BP =5

BP = \frac{5}{2} = 2.5

Hence BP = 2.5

Ans :-  BP = 2.5
