Dear friend,

ATP,
Since AB = AC,

Ang. C = Ang. B
[Base Angles]

So,

Ang. C = 65 °
Ang. B = 65 °

Then,
Ang. ( A+B+C ) = 180°
A+65°+65° = 180°
A+130° = 180°
A = 180°-130° = 50°

Answer. Angle A is 50°.

Hope it helps !!!

IN Δ ABC....
SINCE, AB = AC
SO, ANG. B = ANG. C (BASE ANGLES)
ANG. B = 65°

BY ASP......
ANG. ( A + B + C ) = 180°
A + 65 + 65 = 180°
A = 180°- 130°
A = 50° .......
