in a triangle ABC, AD is a median. Prove that (AB + BC + AC) > 2 AD. ​

In tri. ABD

AB + BD > AD --- (i) [Sum of 2 sides of tri. is always greater than the third side]

AC + DC > AD ---- (ii) [""]

Adding eqn. i & ii

AB + BD + DC + AC > 2 AD

AB + BC + AC > 2AD

Hence , Proved
