By given,
BD=3 cm
CD=4 cm
BY similarity criterion,
ΔBAC≈ΔBAD
Thus,
SO,7AD=BA²-----------------------(1)
SImilarly,ΔDAC≈ΔBAC
Thus,
SO,7AD=4BA
that gives BA=4cm
thus 7AD=4x4=16cm
AD=16/7=2.3cm
