In a triangle ABC angle c=40 angle b=x and the measure of the exterior angle at A is 2x . Find x ?

We know that Exterior angle of a triangle is equals to sum of opposite interior angles.  In this case

∠C +∠B = Exterior angle of A

40 + x = 2x

x = 40
