Given  :  In a triangle ABC, B=90° and C=30°

To Find : AB : AC

A) 1:2

B) 2:1

C) √3:2

D) 2:√3​

Solution:

triangle ABC, ∠B=90°

=>  AB and BC are perpendicular sides

and AC is hypotenuse

Sin ∠C  =  AB / AC

=> Sin 30° = AB / AC

=> 1 / 2 = AB / AC

=> AB : AC =  1 : 2

AB : AC =  1 : 2  is the correct option
