Answer:

Given : AB = 8cm and BC = 12√3 cm

Therefore , Height = Hypotenuse × Sine60° or, Height = 8 × √3/2 or, Height = 4√3

Now, Area of triangle ABC = 1/2 × base × height = 1/2 × 12√3 × 4√3 = 72 square cm
