In a triangle ABC , if angle A -angle B =42°and angle B - angle C =21° then B =?

In ΔABC , given:

                 A-B = 42                    

                ∴ A= B+42                   ....1

                 B-C = 21

                   ∴ C= B-21                ...2

          ∵ In a triangle , sum of all angles = 180°

            ∴ A+B+C = 180            ......3

putting values of A&C from 1 & 2 in 3....we get

     ⇒  B+42+B+B-21 = 180

     ⇒ 3B + 21 = 180

     ⇒ 3B = 159

     ⇒ B = 159/ 3

     

              ∴ B = 53°
