A triangle is said to be equilateral, if each of its sides has the same length.

So in an equilateral triangle, each angle has measure 60°.

OR

Since the sum of its angles is 180°, each angle is 60°. Conversely, if all the angles of a triangle are equal, then by the converse theorem, all its sides are equal, and it is therefore equilateral.

Let ABC be triangle where
Angle A= Angle B
B= C
C= A
so if opposite angles are equal then side opposite to them will be also equal as
AB= BC= CA
Hope it helps
