let a, b, and c are sides of triangle

a/c question

a+b-c=6

b+c-a=6

c+a-b=6

add all equations

a+b+c=18

hence perimeter (s)=18

s-(a+b-c)=18-6

a+b+c-a-b+c=12

2c=12

c=6cm

in the same way

b=a=6cm

hence triangle is an equilatral

so ,

area of equilatral triangle=root3/4 (6)^2

=9root3 cm^2

Answer:

its pretty simple

Step-by-step explanation:

first, you need to know the area formula of equilateral triangle=root3/4a^2

let triangle be an equilateral triangle

let all equal sides be="a"

it is given that sum of two sides exceeds other by 6

so the equation will be(a+a=a+6)

=2a-a=6

=a=6

now area = root3/4a^2

root3/4*(6)^2

=root3/4*36

=9root3 cm^2
