Perimeter of a triangle = sum of all the sides.  Sides are: x+9, 3x+10 and 2x-3.  Perimeter is 40.  So,  40 = (x+9)+(3x+10)+(2x-3). 40 = 6x + 16. 40-16 = 6x. 24 = 6x. 24/6 = x. x = 4.  Therefore, the measure of their sides are:   1. x+9 = 4+9 = 13. 2. 3x+10 = 3(4)+10 = 12+10 = 22. 3. 2x-3 = 2(4)-3 = 8-3 = 5.

the perimeter of the triangle=40

sides are

(x+9)+(3x+10)+(2x-3)=40

x+9+3x+10+2x-3=40

6x+16=40

6x=40-16

6x=24

x=4

the  sidesof the triangle are

1. x+9=4+9=13

2. 3x+10=3(4)+10=12+10=22

3. 2x-3=2(4)-3=8-3=5
