Let , The unit digit be x and tens digit be y

Thus ,

The digit number = 10y + x

y = 4x ---- (I)

x + y = 10 ---- eq (II)

Put the value of y = 4x in equation (II) , we get

x + 4x = 10

5x = 10

x = 2

Now , put the value of x = 2 in equation (I) , we get

y = 4x

y = 4 × 2

y = 8

Hence , the two digit number is 28
