Answer:

35

Step-by-step explanation:

If we take the numbers whose digits have a sum of 8

We have 1+7 = 8 but if we add 18 we will definitely not get 71

So, if we add 18 to 26 we will not get 62

So, if we add 18 to 35 => 35+18=53

Hence in case of 35 its digits are reversed and 3+5 = 8

Hence, 35 satisfies all the conditions and we get the answer as 35.

Answer:

let the ones digit be y

          tens digit be x

10(X)+1(Y)+18=10(y )+1(X)

10x+y+18=10y+x

10x-x-10y+y=-18

9x-9y=-18

x-y=-2 (eq1)

x+y=8(eq2)

by elimination we get

2x=6

x=3

substituting x in eq(1)

3-y=-2

-y=-2-3

-y=-5

y=5

hence the number is 35
