Answer:

Orignal number=24

Explanation:

Let the ten's digit be x

One's digit=x+2

Orignal number=10(x)+x+2

=10x+x+2

=11x+2

According to question:

x+x+2=1/4(11x+2)

2x+2=11x/4+1/2

LCM=4

2x(4)+4(2)=11x+2(1)

8x+8=11x+2

8-2=11x-8x

3x=6

x=6/3

x=2

Ten's digit=2

Unit digit=x+2

=2+2

=4

Orignal number=11x+2

=11(2)+2

=22+2

=24

Lets verify according to the question:

According to the question

Sum of the digits=1/4 of orignal number

2+4=1/4×24

6=1/4×24

6=6

Lets verify according to the equation by substituting x=2:

8x+8=11x+2

8(2)+8=11(2)+2

16+8=22+2

24=24

Since,in both cases

LHS=RHS

Hence,

Orignal 2 digit number=24
