Answer:

The ratio of alcohol to water = 1 : 2

Step-by-step explanation:

we are given that

There are 10 L alcohol in the vessel

According to the 1st step of given operator we have to 5 L of present thing from the vessel so

After applying first step there quantity of alcohol in vessel = 10 - 5 = 5 L

According to the 2nd step of given operator we have to add 10 L of pure water in the vessel so

After applying second step

The things in the vessel = 5 L alcohol + 10 L water

Therefor in the final solution

The ratio of alcohol to water = 5 L : 10 L = 1 : 2

Thus

The ratio of alcohol to water = 1 : 2
