Step-by-step explanation:

Let the amount of A= 5x

the amount of B = 9x

the ratio of A and B 5:9

mixture taken out 28 liter

so amount of A taken out = (5/14)*28= 10ltr

amount of B taken out = 18ltr

amount of B added = 2ltr

new amount of A= 5x-10

new amount of B = 9x-18+2= 9x-16

so new ratio= 1:2

(5x-10)/(9x-16)= 1/2

10x-20= 9x-16

10x-9x= -16+20

x= 4 ltr

initial quantity of the mixture = 5x+9x= 14x

so 14*4 = 56ltr
