Step-by-step explanation:

ANSWER:-

Given:-

Total Number of People - 121

Women - 6x

Men - 5x

Men AND Women =?

For this , I have considered x as constant.

We can sah that

Total men and women make Number of people.

so,

6x + 5x = 121

11x = 121

x =  \frac{121}{11}

x = 11

6x = 6 \times 11 = 66

5x = 5 \times 11 = 55

So , women are 66 and Men are 55 in number.

THINGS to Note:-

  • Always consider a constant x
  • This makes equation easy
  • Do not forget to multiply or divide the coefficient
  • Multiplication of either side becomes Division
  • Vice versa is also applicable.

\huge\mathtt{\underline{\underline{Given:-}}}

  • Total Number of People - 121
  • Women - 6x
  • Men - 5x

\huge\mathtt{\underline{\underline{To\:Find:-}}}

  • Man and women = ?

\huge\mathtt{\underline{\underline{Solution:-}}}

For this , I have considered x as constant.

We can sah that

Total men and women make Number of people.

so,

6x + 5x = 121 \\  =  > 11x = 121 \\  =  > x =  \frac{121}{11}  \\  =  > x = 11

Therefore, we get the value of x is 11.

Putting the value,

6x = 6 \times 11 = 66

5x = 5 \times 11 = 55

Hence we get the number of women are 66 and men are 55.
