Hey mate.
Here is your answer -

【Ans.(i)】- Mean profit for each crop over 4 years -

Crop- Groundnuts: Profit of each year =
Rs.7000, Rs.8000, Rs.7500, Rs.7500
Mean profit = 【Rs.7500】

mean = \: \frac{sum of \: observations}{total \: no. \: of \: observations} \\ mean = \: \frac{rs.7000 + rs.8000 + rs.7500 + rs7500}{4} \\ mean = \: \frac{rs.30000}{4} \\ therefore \: mean = \: rs.7500

Crop- Jawar: Profit each year= Rs.6000, Rs.1000, Rs.8000, Rs.1000
Mean profit= 【Rs.4000】

mean = \: \frac{rs.6000 + rs.1000 + rs.8000 + rs.1000}{4} \\ mean = \: \frac{rs.16000}{4} \\ therefore \: mean = \: rs.4000

Crop- Millets: Profit per year= Rs.9000,Rs.5000,Rs.3000,Rs.4000
Mean profit=【Rs.5250】

mean = \: \frac{rs.9000 + rs.5000 + rs.3000 + rs.4000}{4} \\ mean = \: \frac{rs.21000}{4} \\ therefore \: mean = \: rs.5250

【Ans(ii)】- According to our answer, groundnuts should be cultivated next year.

Hope it helps!!!!

From the attachment above,

i ) Mean profits of each crop is

Ground nut = Rs 7500

Jawar = Rs4000

Millets = Rs 5250

ii ) Heighest mean is Rs 7500

Therefore ,

we should cultivate ground nut

to get highest profit .
