Answer

Find out the percentage of the trees are oak trees .

To prove

Formula

As given

In the woods there are 420 silver birch trees, 160 oak trees and 300 wood cherry trees .

Total number of trees = 420 + 160 + 300

                                  = 880

Part value = 160 oak trees

Put all in the formula

Percentage = 18.2 % (approx)
