To Find:-

  • <C of the ∆ABC

Given:-

  • <A of ∆ABC = 60°
  • <B of ∆ABC = 48°

Concept:-

We know the total sum of the angles of a triangle is 180°.If the two angles of a triangle are specified (given),we can find the third angle using Angle Sum Property of a Triangle.

  • <A + <B + <C = 180°

This is the representation of Angle Sum Property of a Triangle.The sum of the all three angles of a triangle is 180°.

Solution:-

Let <C be taken as x.

<A = 60°

<B = 48°

According to the question we have,

<A + <B + <C = 180°

60° + 48° + x = 180°

108° + x = 180°

x = 180° - 108°

x = 72°

Therefore,

<C of ∆ABC = 72°

Verification:-

<A + <B + <C = 180°

60° + 48° + 72° = 180°

180° = 180°

LHS = RHS

Hence,

It is verified.
