Answer:

angle A = angle C therefore this angle is right angled triangle angleA=angle C=45 angle B=90 by 45-45-90 therem AB=1/underoot2xAC---(side opposite 45 angle) AB=1/underoot 2x5 AB=5/underoot 2 AB=7.07 perimeter=AB+BC+AC Perimeter=7.07+4+5 perimeter= 16.07

Given : In, ∆ ABC

  • \angle A = \angle C
  • AC = 5 cm
  • BC = 4 cm

To find : Perimeter

Solution :

Let's begin :

To find perimeter of ∆ ABC , firstly we will find the third side of triangle

To find third side of triangle :

∆ BAC = ∆ BCA

Thus, BC = AC

Therefore, BC = AB = 4 cm

\therefore Third side of triangle, which is AB = 4cm.

Now , To find perimeter of triangle

\star We just simply add all the sides of triangle

\rightarrow AB + BC + AC

\rightarrow 4cm + 4cm + 5cm

\rightarrow 13 cm

Hence , perimeter of triangle is 13 cm.
