Hay buddy first you find p/2 .

then you put in the value in the heron's formula.

you can find the area of triangle.

Here's your answer!!

_____________________________

Side of triangles are 5,7 and 8

We will find the area of this triangle by Heron's formula :-

 = > s = \frac{sum \: of \: all \: sides}{2}

 = > s = \frac{5 + 7 + 8}{2}

 = > s = \frac{20}{2}

 = > s = 10

Therefore,

Area of triangle =

 = > \sqrt{s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)} \\ = > \sqrt{20(20 - 5)(20 - 7)(20 - 8)}

 = > \sqrt{20 \times 15 \times 13 \times 12}

 = > \sqrt{2 \times 2 \times 5 \times 3 \times 5 \times 13 \times 2 \times 2 \times 3}

 = > 2 \times 3 \times 5 \times 2 \sqrt{13}

= >60√13 cm^2
