We will find the area of this triangle by Heron's formula :-

$= > s = \frac{sum \: of \: all \: sides}{2}$

$= > s = \frac{5 + 7 + 8}{2}$

$= > s = \frac{20}{2}$

$= > s = 10$

Therefore,

Area of triangle =

$= > \sqrt{s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)} \\ = > \sqrt{20(20 - 5)(20 - 7)(20 - 8)}$

$= > \sqrt{20 \times 15 \times 13 \times 12}$

$= > \sqrt{2 \times 2 \times 5 \times 3 \times 5 \times 13 \times 2 \times 2 \times 3}$

$= > 2 \times 3 \times 5 \times 2 \sqrt{13}$

= >60√13 cm^2
