In ∆ABC and ∆ABD, AD=BC and AB is the common base, angle 1 = angle 2 and angle 3 = angle 4.
To prove that BD = AC

please please please help me guys tomorrow is my MATHS exam please please please I beg u all guys. Its urgent....

We know that,

 ad = bc \\ angle1 = angle 2 \\ angle3 = angle4

=>angle1+angle3=angle2+angle4

=>AD = BC

=>AB is common.

Therefore,

∆ABD is congruent to ∆ABC (SAS rule).

Therefore, AC = BD (congruent triangles).
