solution:-

given that,

angle a is 100°

angle b=angle c

need to find :-

angle b and angle c

step by step procedure:-

  1. As we all know that sum of angles in a triangle is always equal to 180°
  2. you gave that angle b and angle c are equal so i am taking b and c as x,x angles
  3. now coming to our procedure of finding x in the triangle

x°+x°+100°=180°

2x°+100°=180°

2x=80°

x=40°

angle b = angle c = 40°

so the angles are,

angle a is 100°

angle b is 40°

angle c is 40°

Answer:

40°

Explanation:

In ΔABC,  it is given that,

           AB = AC

⇒         ∠B = ∠C

Using Angle Sum Property in ΔABC, we obtain,

            ∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180°

⇒          100° + 2∠B = 180°

⇒          2∠B = 180° - 100°

⇒          ∠B = 80/2

⇒          ∠B = 40°

Hence,

∠B = ∠C = 40°
