x = 9 if  LM is parallel to AB.and  AL=X-3, AC= 2x, BM = x-2 BC= 2x +3

Step-by-step explanation:

LM is parallel to AB

=> AL/AC  = BM/BC

=> (x - 3)/2x  = (x - 2)/(2x + 3)

=> (x - 3)(2x + 3) = 2x(x - 2)

=> 2x² - 3x - 9  = 2x² - 4x

=> - 3x - 9  =  - 4x

=> x - 9 = 0

=> x = 9
