In ΔACB and ΔEFD, ∠F and ∠C are 90° and EF = AC, then find the third condition to prove the congruence of the two triangles using the RHS criteria.​

Prove ΔACB ≅ ΔEFD using RHS criterion

Given:

∠F = ∠C = 90° (R criteria satisfied)

EF = AC (S criteria satisfied)

So, to be able to say they're congruent, we need the information that their hypotenuse is equal.

Hypotenuse is the side opposite to the right angle, so the side opposite to ∠F and ∠C

= ED and AB

So, we need the third conditon of ED = AB
