In the Merchant Of Venice,Bassanio took the advantage of Antonio's fame in Venice as Antonio was well known and well trusted in Venice,he asked for his help to lend some money. Meanwhile Antonio was not having a sum cash to lend him and therefore his famous personality helped him in borrowing some money from a Jewish Moneylender,Shylock.
