in BURN

in a parallelogram diagonal bisect each other

x+3=18

x=15

x+y=20

y=5

In TURN

4x +2=28

x=13/2

5y -1 =24

y= 5

PART 1: TURN

Property: We know that in a parallelograms, opposite sides are equal.

So, in llgm TURN

TU = RN

So, 4x + 2 = 28

4x = 24

x = 6

Also, TN = RU

So, 5y - 1 = 24

5y = 25

y = 5

PART 2: BURN

Property: We know that diagonals of a llgm bisect each other.

Let diagonals UN and BR intersect at O

Then, OB = OR

x + y = 20 ----------------(1)

Also, ON = OU

x + 3 = 18

x = 15

Put x = 15 in (1)

15 + y = 20

y = 5
