This is very true in the case of Prashant.
Although he was taken unawares by the
cyclone and had not got over the loss of his
mother, he managed to soon take control of
the situation and put in his best efforts to
help and save others. Forming a group of
people of all age groups, he attended to
people staying in the shelter and cleaned the
wounds of people who were impacted by the
cyclone. He also made arrangements for rice
distribution from a merchant.
Prashant also sheltered a lot of orphaned
children. While he got women to look after
them, he made sure that men procured food
and other essentials. When women began to
lose control and break down, he convinced
them to be a part of the food-for-work
program undertaken by an NGO.
