Hey
Here is your answer,
An = a + (n-1) d
A17 = 7+A10
a + (17-1) d = 7 + a + (10-1) d
a + 16d = 7 + a + 9d
16d = 7 + 9d
16d - 9d = 7
7d = 7
d = 7/7
d = 1
The common difference is 1.
Hope it helps you!

Answer:
let the first term of the AP be a and the common difference d
tn = a+ (n-1) d. ......(formula)
t17=a+(17-1)d. .......( substituting the values)
t17= a+16d .......(1)
t10=a+(10-1)d
t10=a+9d. ......(2)
from from the given condition and from (1) and +(2),
a+16d=a+9d+7. ....( because 7 is
more than 10th
term ) (given)
16d - 9d = 7
7d=7
d= 7/7
d = 1
therefore the common difference is 1
