hi friend,

given In an A.P,the sum of its first n term is 6n-n².sum of 1st term is

s1=6(1)-(1)²=6-1=5=a(first term)

sum of two terms s2=6(2)-(2)²=12-4=8

a1+a2=8

5+a2=8

a2=3

so the common difference is a2-a1=-2

so 25th term is a+(24)d

5-48

=-43

I hope this will help u ;)

QGP: In it, you try to adjust the formula into standard form. There you get an important result, which I have put in the box as equation 1.
QGP: Oh, good that you know about it
