Step-by-step explanation:

No.of female students = 100

Among them 20% are engineering students

= [20/100]×100 = 20

So, the female engineering student = 20

Among these 25% female engineering students passed the final exam

= [20×25]×100 = 5

So no.of female students passed exam = 5

No.of male students = 120

Among these 25% are engineering students

= [25×120]/100 = 30

from these 20% of students are passed

= [20×30]/100 = 6

Hence total no.of students who passed exam = female + male

= 5+6 = 11 Students

Total number of engineering students in class

= 20 + 30 = 50 students

Percentage of students passed exam is

= [11/50]×100

= 22%

Answer:

the male engineering students= 120*25/100

=30

the female engineering students=100*20/100

=20

the passed male engineering students=30*20/100

=6

the passed female engineering students=20*25/100

=5

the pecentage of passed engineering students is={(6+5)/50*100}%

={11/50*100}%

=(11*2)%

=22%
