Answer:

I hope this is helpful for you

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the three terms be a - d, a, a + d

Sum = 24                  Product = 480

∴a−d+a+a+d=24

3a=24

∴a=8

(a−d)(a)(a+d)=480

(8−d)(8)(8+d)=480[∵a=8]

(8−d)(8+d)=60

64−d2=60

d2=±4=±2

If a=8,d=2 the terms are

a−d=8−2=6,a=8,a+d=8+2=10

∴ the term are 6,8,10.

We will get the same values if we'll consider d=−2.

Answer:

answer : 6 , 8, 10

Step-by-step explanation:

Three terms : a-d , a , a+d

a-d+a+a+d = 24

3a = 24

a = 8

(a-d)(a)(a+d) = 480

(8-d)(8)(8+d) = 480

(8-d)(8+d) = 480/8

8^2 - d^2 = 60. [(a+b)(a-b)=a^2-b^2]

64 - d^2 = 60

-d^2 = 60-64

-d^2 = -4

d^2 = 4

d =√4

d = 2

a-d = 8-2 = 6

a = 8

a+d = 8+2 = 10

so, the three terms are 6 ,8 , 10

pls like the answer if it is helpfull
