Step-by-step explanation:

Let the AP be a, a+d, a+2d, ...; ==> First term is a and common difference is d

ii) Sum of first 11 terms is: (11/2)*(2a + 10d) = 44

This simplifies to: a + 5d = 4 ------ (1)

iii) Sum of next 11 terms = 55; so sum of first 22 terms is 44 + 55 = 99.

==> (22/2)(2a + 21d) = 99

==> 2a + 21d = 9 ------- (2)

iv) Solving (1) & (2), we have a = 39/11 and d = 1/11
